UGHELLI/Nigeria: As part of activities to celebrate the Re-election and swearing in of his excellency Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, one of delta’s new generation leader, young philanthropist and chairman Williams Foundation Comr. Evbie Andrew has promised to carry out free medical care and give scholarships to the people of Ughelli North.
Andrew Evbie, a native of Ogbovwan in Ughelli North local government, who made the promise while addressing newsmen, stated that now is the time for private individuals with capacity to join hands with the governor to build the state, and he is ready to lead the charge.
Andrew, popularly called Xpensive by his plethora of admirers, added that the love and support shown to the youths by governor Okowa is one of the motivating factor why he decided to sponsor the free medical care and also approved for the foundation to give a certain number of scholarship to indigent students .
According to Andrew, the main focus of the foundation during the free medical care, will be the rural areas, as his target is to reach those who have hitherto not felt the strong presence of government.
He described the Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa led government as one of the finest the nation has ever seen, adding that the governor’s style of leadership is what endeared him to the PDP as party and it’s the major reason why he has decided to pledge total support for the party as well as collapsing his structures into the party.
Finally, he rounded up by pledging to also mobilise 1000 youths to the venue of the inauguration to join other deltans in celebration of the continuation of the OKOWA S.M.A.R.T Agenda.
