Rescue Group Sapele, Anglican Communion Confirms Clergies

SAPELE/Nigeria: Sapele Rescue Group (Special Archdeaconry) of the Sapele Diocese Anglican Communion Held confirmation and commission service where it confirmed Clergymen For Kingdom Advancement.

It was joy all through in the hearts of people of Sapele Rescue Diocese (special Archdeaconry) as they cerebrated confirmation and commission service which took place at the Cathedral Church of St Luke’s Boyo road, in    Sapele local government area of Delta State.

The service was presided over by Rt Rev,d Abiodun Ogunyemi, Bishop,Missioner/Primate representative and assisted by the priests of the Special Archdeaconry.

The Bishops message was read from the book of Rev5vs1-, with the theme “Without Christ in your life, your name can not be sealed in the book of Life”

The bishop admonished the congregation to note that without being born again, your name can not be in the book of Life, which nobody on the earth or in heaven is worthy to open except the Lamb of God, which is Jesus Christ who redeemed us with his blood.

The clergy man urged every Christian to always wait and listen to the voice of God, noting that hearing from God is the best gift for Christians.

The cleric congratulated the newly confirmed and commissioned candidates and urged them to always obey, trust and listen to the voice of God, noting that without Him in our life, we can’t do nothing.

The man of God concluded as he took his last text from the gospel of  Matthew 24v14,” there is the  need as  believers to preach the gospel of Christ to every  creatures, then you will see the power of God manifesting in your life”. He concluded.

Speaking, Sir Dr Ejiro Omoko officially welcomed and appreciated God in life of the bishop, noting that, “we are overwhelmed of your presence in this special occasion of confirmation and commission service.”

He also appreciated the primate,  Most Revd Dr Henry Ndukuba for sending this Eminent  man of God to represent him in this special occasion as He prayed for God,s protection and safe journey back home to all those who attended the event.

The venerable supervisor, Ven. Clement Oburho on behalf of the priests, appreciated God for the success of the confirmation and commission ceremony.

The cleric also thanked the Primate of Church of Nigeria for making the special service a huge success and prayed for safe journey of the bishop back home.

Evang John Agofure on behalf of the newly commissioned Evangelists/lay readers, appreciated God for divine elevation to work in His vineyard just as he also appreciated Ven. Oburoh and the priests for their love, prayer and support towards the success of the ceremony..

Those that graced the service are Ven. O. O. Oyibo Jp, Ven. P. Tagbare, Ven. B. Ovumedia, Ven. O. O. Arawore, Rev Canon P.A Adam, Rev. Canon F. I. Onoshefe, Rev. Canon A.P. Obunegbe.
