IDUMUJE-UGBOKO/Nigeria: Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko has reaffirmed his commitment to infrastructure development in Delta North Senatorial District with an inspection tour of key projects, including the ongoing construction of the one-kilometer Ugbobi Uzebu Road in Idumuje-Ugboko.
The road, which stretches from Ugbobi Primary School to the Uzebu axis, is expected to improve mobility, boost local commerce, and enhance access to farmlands and essential services. Historically plagued by poor conditions and seasonal flooding, the reconstruction aims to provide a lasting solution to decades of hardship faced by residents.
Dr. Michael Nwoko, the Senator’s Chief of Staff, highlighted the strategic importance of the project, assuring that it aligns with Senator Nwoko’s broader vision for infrastructural transformation across Delta North. “This one-kilometer road is not just a passage but a gateway to economic prosperity for the people of Idumuje-Ugboko,” he stated. “It will be completed soon, and other road projects are already in the pipeline to extend this development further.”
The contractor, Abdurahim Sulaiman of Al-Kibad Group, confirmed that despite initial setbacks, all necessary resources have been mobilized to ensure the project’s timely completion. Residents, including Mr. Debia Christian and Mr. Agbamuche Elozien, expressed their gratitude, noting that the road will significantly ease transportation challenges and improve access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities.
Senator Nwoko’s intervention in road construction and street lighting projects reflects his commitment to modernizing infrastructure and enhancing the living standards of his constituents. With the Ugbobi Uzebu Road nearing completion, the people of Idumuje-Ugboko eagerly anticipate the transformation it will bring to their community.
