WARRI/Nigeria: Niger Delta-born journalist and publisher of Daily Watch, Mr Cletus Opukeme, has announced the passing of his mother, Mrs Goodluck Opukeme, at the age of 72.
In a press statement signed by Mr Opukeme, he revealed that his mother died on the morning of Friday, 20th September, following a brief illness at a private hospital in Sagbama, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The late Mrs Goodluck Opukeme, born on 15th February 1951, hailed from Tuomo Town in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The family is expected to announce funeral arrangements after a family meeting.
