AGBOR/Nigeria: Few days to the completion of three years in office by Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as the Governor of Delta State, the Abavo Political Forum (APF) will tomorrow 26 May, 2018 organise a mega rally for the Governor.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman, Executive Committee of APF, Hon. Sunny Tata-Obuzogwu, the rally will take place at Azuowa Primary School, Okpe, Abavo, Ika South local government area of Delta State.
“We are proud of the achievements of Dr Okowa as the Governor of Delta State, he has delivered beyond expectations and the rally is not only to appreciate his good works but, to drum up support for him to contest for the position again in 2019,” Hon. Tata-Obuzogwu said.
He continued, “The state Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, Delta North Senatorial District Chairman of the party, Chief Moses Iduh and other top politicians have assured us that they will attend the mega rally.”
“We are confident that with the achievements of our Governor within three years, all Abavo sons and daughters, members of the party from different parts of the state and beyond including lovers of good things will attend the rally,” he stated.
Hon. Tata-Obuzogwu disclosed that every arrangement have been made for a successful rally, emphasising, “the Governor is our own and we will not be surprised to see him at the rally, he is a grassroots man who identifies with his people.”
