ASABA/Nigeria: The 2019 Competitive Examination for candidates who enrolled for the 2019 edition of the ASCON Public Service Examination into the Administrative and Special Departmental Cadres in the Delta State Civil Service will hold on Thursday, 24th and Friday 25th January, 2019.
A statement signed by the Director of Information, Mr Paul Osahor indicated that the purpose of the written examination was not to test candidates in their areas of specialization but to determine their ability to think clearly, to understand and write English Language, as well as knowledge of current affairs, particularly African affairs.
According to the statement, he examination will consist of five papers, namely, English Language (Essay/Comprehension), Logical Thinking, Basic Statistics, General Knowledge Paper I (Essay) and General Knowledge Paper II (Objectives).
The statement added that the examination, which would take place at the TET Fund Building, Delta State University, Anwai Campus, Asaba, would commence at 9.00 am each day.
It advised candidates to come along with the original copies of their ASCON registration slips which bear their passport photographs.
