UGHELLI/Nigeria: A House of Assembly aspirant from Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state, Chief Prince Uruemu Eveutapha, has promised to give his people the best representation if elected since he is a grassroot politician who knows the challenges the constituents are facing.
Chief Eveutapha, who is an Ambassador of Team Ibori for Okowa 2019 and the Orugba R’ovie of Ughelli kingdom, stated this in his country home at Otokutu when he welcomed members of Ughelli South Dynamic Youth Forum led by the Chairman, Comrade Thompson Oghenekaro.
He thanked the group for coming to pledge their support to him and assured them that if voted in to represent them, he will deliver the dividends of democracy and advised that as they vote for him, they should also vote for the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, and all Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in the January 6, 2018 local government election and the 2019 general election.
Comrade Oghenekaro, in his speech, appreciated the move Prince Eveutapha made during the PDP Ughelli South local government election campaign flag up ceremony held on the 19th of December in Jeremi town stressing that it was the move that motivated the visit.
He said that the crowd and supporters they saw that day showed that indeed he is a grassroot man which have moved the group to come and pledge their support to him to make sure they work together to support him in his aspiration for Delta State House of Assembly in 2019.
