ASABA/Nigeria: Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the African Democratic Congress ADC, has called on Nigerians to embrace the party as it is determined to provide the needed platform that can change the fortune of the country.
The Chairman of the party in Delta State, Prince Joe Chukwu said in a statement that the ADC is poised to take over government house, Asaba and other levels of government in the state in line with resolve of the party national secretariat.
According to the Chairman, it is a known fact that members drawn from the 68 registered political parties in Nigeria who have subscribed to membership of CNM have adopted ADC as a political platform to be used to seek the desired change that Nigerians need to ventilate their political aspirations.
He said the ADC is now a renowned and reinvigorated political party which has adopted the policy of 30 percent youths under 40 and 30 percent of women in all organs of the party, saying the party is now a new destination for Nigerians in search of political hope.
The Chairman said ADC door is open for genuine men and women from the All Progressive Congress, Peoples Democratic Party and indeed all political parties who are tired of mediocrity in their parties to come out and work for the good and progress of Nigeria.
He pointed out that it is obvious that from all indication, the two erstwhile dominant political parties in Nigeria, the APC and the PDP are on their way to the grave to be buried, noting that work is the new approach ADC and members must be prepared to sweep all strata of political power from federal and state.
Prince Joe Chukwu warned that the battle to reclaim power in Delta State from PDP that has held reins for 17 years has reached feverish heights.
He however, described President Mohammadu Buhari administration as a failed one judging from all facets of the economy and advised Nigerians to get set to embrace ADC.
