Delta State Commissioner for Lands Surveys and Urban Development, Hon Chika Ossai
ABOH/Nigeria: Iselegu the home town of the Delta State Commissioner for Lands Surveys and Urban Development, Hon Chika Ossai was beehive of activities recently as youths from Ndokwa east came out in their great numbers to call on the commissioner for lands Surveys and Urban development Hon Chika Ossai to Contest for Delta state House of Assembly come 2019 .
The Youths who are under the umbrella of Ndokwa East Youths Association, ‘NEYA’ made the call during their visit to the commissioner through a motion moved by Mr lucky Iyanma and was seconded by Hon Basil Agbanashi and supported by a great Ovation from the Youths.
Speaking earlier, the President General of Ndokwa East Youths Association Comrade Simeon Chukwuemeke said the call became necessary after due consultation and having x-rayed the land mark achievement made in the shortest time as a Commissioner and his relationship with the leaders in Ndokwa east.
Comrade Chukwuemeke said they were in Iselegu in their great numbers to appreciate Hon Chika Ossai for all his assistance to the Youths in Ndokwa east and for bringing light to people after eight years of darkness.
He assured the commissioner of total support from the Youths in Ndokwa east any time he made up his mind to run for their seat in the State House of Assembly and reminded him that he has no other option than to contest.
The commissioner for lands Surveys and Urban development Hon Chika Ossai in his response thanked the Youths for their support for Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and ensuring that absolute peace reigns in Ndokwa east.
Hon Chika Ossai stated that he is not afraid to contest but added that the forum is not an avenue for him to declare for the position they are calling him for.
He told them that he has heard their request, and appealed that they should give him time to consult leaders in the local government.
The commissioner stated that Ndokwa East Youths Association remains the mother head of all youth bodies in the area, adding that other youth organisation are affiliates to NEYA.
