ASABA/Nigeria: Members of the Reality Group, A Political Pressure Group in Ukwuani Local Government Area has said the Executive Director, Social Services Development, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor is the best aspirants for the Ukwuani Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly come 2019.
Members of the group spoke in Asaba when they accompanied Hon Ochor on a consultation visit to the PDP State Secretary Chief Obi Nzete as well as the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, Chief Festus Ochonogor at the Unity Hall Government House Asaba.
Members of the Group who spoke, including one time Delta North PDP Chairman, Chief Eric Anigala, former Local Government Chairman, Defunct Bendel State, Chief Benson Ossai, former PDP Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Chief Monday Ossai and the Special Adviser to the Governor on women mobilization, Mrs Patricia Esegbue amidst other PDP Stakeholders in the area said they decided to pinch their tents with Honourable Ochor Ochor because the Executive Director Social Services, DESOPADEC has proved to be a people oriented leader who had impacted on the socio-economic development of Ukwuani area through the various appointed and elected positions held.
Reacting to the visits, the PDP State Secretary, Chief Obi Nzete and the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, Chief Festus Ochonogor both hailed Honourable Ochor as a prolonged Grassroot member who had been pragmatic in his exemplary leadership style.
They called on him to go about his consultations with decorum and ensure his supporters are peaceful at all times ahead of the PDP Primaries and general elections in 2019.
Earlier, Honourable Ochor stated that the visits were to inform the PDP Secretary and the Special Political Adviser officially of his intention to represent the Ukwuani people in the Delta State House of Assembly.
He promised to work in line with Governor Okowa to attract an all round development to Ukwani people.
