SAPELE/Nigeria: The Delta State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso has said there will be no shortchanging of any candidate that emerge as the party flag bearer after party primaries.
Esiso who disclosed this today at his residence when he Played host to a frontline Aspirant of Delta State House of Assembly, Ukwani Constituency, Hon. Chris Ochor Ochor describing him as a humility Personified. He assured the aspirant of a level Playing Ground for all come 2019, maintaining that only candidates that are accepted by the people of their Constituency will fly the party flag.
He continued, “Everyone has the right to aspire for one Position or the other but we must desist from the use of ugly languages against other Party aspirants vying for same Elective Position. I am saying you should not do your consultations, but while consulting convince delegates to vote for you, stop destroying the Personalities of other aspirants “he added.
While assuring aspirants of free, fair and credible Primaries, he called on all Aspirants and Party faithfuls to see themselves as brothers and sisters revealing that the Party can only record electoral victory when Party Leaders and followers are united”.
Earlier, Chief Elder Ochonogor Ossai who led the delegation to the residence of the Chairman described Hon. Chris Ochor Ochor as a committed party man who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the people in his Constituency.
Hon Chris Ochor Ochor in his Speech thanked Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso for receiving him with open heart, while stressing that his ambition to Represent the People of Ukwani in the State Assembly is borne out of his desire to add value to the lives of the People, maintaining that the People of Ukwani Local Government Area deserve better representation.
