2023: Delta Born Young Business Consultant, Former Chairman Delta Economic Forum and Presidential Hopeful Welcomed To ADC

ASABA/Nigeria: To further pursue his presidential ambition, which he recently declared in his home town of Onitcha-Ugbo, Delta State, Mr. Chukwuka Monye had been formerly admitted into the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Receiving formerly into the party, at an event which was held at the General Nwogu Hall, Vienna International Hotel, Asaba the National Chairman of the ADC, Chief Ralph Nwosu, regretted that Nigeria had now become the ‘Poverty Capital’ of the world, attributing the development to failure of the leaders to judiciously use the nation’s resources to positively affect the lives of the people.

Chief Nwosu said ADC was lucky to have Chukwuka Monye as its presidential aspirant, promising that the young, resourceful and foresighted politician would be adopted as the party’s sole candidate because of his rich endowment needed at this point in the life of the nation to turn things around for the better.

As part of its agenda to give Nigerians good leadership, come 2023, the African Democratic Congress, ADC had declared its intention to unseat the two major parties in the country, with better manifestoes, and candidates that can deliver the needs of Nigerians.

Earlier ADC membership card was presented to Mr. Chukwuka Monye by the National Vice Chairman, South South, of the party, Elder Festus Igbinoba, who said the ADC, , is the so called third force the country is greatly looking forward to change the fortune of the citizenry through good governance.

In his response, the Delta born renowned international business consultant and Oxford University graduate, Chukwuka Monye said he chose the ADC over other political parties because it was the only party with the right ideologies to provide the much needed good governance in the country, stressing that Nigeria had suffered serious setbacks as a nation due to bad leadership, leaving the citizenry worse for it.

Mr Monye, who has the theme of his campaign slogan, “2023 Matters: Our Future is Now” explained that though he would not be able to match the financial strength of the older politicians eying the presidential seat, Nigerians were now more enlightened and better informed about the failure of the older generation of politicians to provide solutions to the myriad of problems facing the country despite all the promises to the electorate.

The presidential hopeful expressed optimism that Nigerians would make the right choice of their President in 2023, as against what obtained in the past, assuring that ADC would revolutionize governance in the country, which the two political parties that had been in power over the years failed to do.

Present on the occasion were the Deputy National Chairman, Diaspora Network, Hon Kenneth Gbandi, the party’s strategist, Mr. Nuhu Cheshi; the National Director of Communications and Programmes, Barr. Oligbude; the National Youth Leader, Barr. Maurice Eban, the Delta State Chairman of the party, Prince Joe Chukwu, among others.
