IGBODO/Nigeria: The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has called on youths to give their support to the party in the 2023 General Election.
The Deputy Director of Field Operation, of the PDP Campaign Council, Mr. Ifeanyi Eboigbe made the call when the Campaign Council visited Wards 12, Mbiri, Ward 7, Akumazi, Ward 13, Ute-Ogbeje, Ward 8, Igbodo, and Ward 11, Umunede, Ika North East Local Government on Monday, November 21, 2022.
Speaking to the youths directly on the forthcoming election, Mr. Eboigbe said the communities in Ika North East, have benefitted much from the PDP since its inception, as each administration has continued with the improvement of the infrastructure and lives in the area.
He advised the youths not to be deceived by sycophants who will come to tell them to vote for another party candidate, saying that this should not happen, because it will end up causing problems for the communities, as those parties have nothing to offer.
The Deputy Director reaffirmed the superiority of the party above any other party, as its organised and has plans for more development of the State.
“My people, my fellow youths, I call on you today to give your support to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. It is right you do, so that we will continue to enjoy the benefits of development in our areas.”
“I know people are coming around to deceive you, in the name of the Labour Party, or All Progressive Congress, APC, do not be deceived. Look back and know where you are coming from.”
He stated that the people will never regret voting for the party and all the candidates.
“I call on you, let us work together and ensure the Atiku-Okowa ticket wins in 2023. So also, the Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori-Onyeme, Governorship ticket, Senate, House of Representatives, and the State House of Assembly. Every candidate will work for you, as they had been working for you.” He noted.
Meanwhile, the supporters in the five Wards visited affirmed their readiness for the party’s victory, stating they will work for the party to win all the offices at the end of the election in 2023.
