The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Okowa on Community Development, Honourable Jude Fregene, has felicitated with the governor on his 6th anniversary, saying that he had impacted positively on the lives of Deltans.
Fregene described Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a pragmatic leader who had done so much by positively transforming the state for the overall welfares of Deltans and residents in the state.
The SSA made this known to journalists at his country home in Jesse town of Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta state.
He said that the Okowa-led administration came with a vision to elevate the state to a greater height, with a view at combatting poverty by ensuring favourable environment for the creation of prosperity for the people, adding that the state had experienced visible tremendous transformation under the watch of Governor Okowa.
While congratulating the Governor on his achievements for the six years in office, the SSA said Okowa had demonstrated good leadership which had been acknowledged by Deltans within and outside the state.
He said that Governor Okowa had demonstrated rare leadership and managerial astuteness in the positive transformation of all the sectors of the state economy, including his strong determination and commitments at diversifying the state economy from the unreliable oil earnings, adding that his unprecedented developmental milestones would ever remain endearing legacies in the state.
Fregene prayed God to grant Governor Okowa more wisdom and the enablement to pilot the affairs of the realisation of the Stronger Delta vision of the state government in his remaining years in office.
