The speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly RT. Hon Victor Ochei, had built and commissioned a house for a 77 years old Ogbuefi Robert Odigiri Efe. The house, a three bedroom flat with modern facilities and borehole was built under the supervision of the Hon Commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation in the Board of DESOPADEC, Hon Kenny E. Okolugbo.
Speaking at the occasion, the elated Ogbuefi Efe, says his tongues are tired. He called on followers and those that lead to be humble, and blessings will come their way.
Speaking earlier, Hon Kenny Okolugbo had described Rt. Hon Ochei as a detribalised Nigerian. He gave a detail of all his contribution to the LGA to include the ICT centre at Obiaruku Grammar School and other projects, which through his office and person had attracted to the Local Government Area. According to Sir Okolugbo, the speaker saw humility in the old man right from the time they first met two years ago.
Speaking, Rt Hon Ochei described Ogbuefi Efe, as a man of humility, when they met the first time and his later observations he saw in him a person to encourage, especially when he found out he had no house. And because he had had personal experience, when former Governor James Onanafe Ibori encouraged him to build a house of his own and that, he will come to commission it. He went further to advice those present to key into the wisdom of the old, as he had keyed into that of Ogbuefi Efe.
Hon Alphonsus Ojo, who was also present at the occasion extolled the virtue of the Speaker, and described him as a man of his word
