ABOH/Nigeria: Delta State House of Assembly hopeful, for the Ndokwa East Constituency Seat, Engr Philip Ugbomah has called on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to ensure the selection of presentable candidate to carry the flag of the party in the area, as the quality of whoever is selected will determine the outcome of the general election, which will be the next phase after the primary.
Engr. Ugbomah made the call when he visited ward 5 in the LGA over the weekend.
The House of Assembly aspirant, who was received by a mount crowd of PDP faithful, advised the party members to avoid money politics, as it will not favour them, and the local government, reminding them that the problem will never be solved by politics of money inducement.
He stressed that as home person, who lived most of his life within the LGA, is in the race to bring the infrastructural balance in the area, to make up for the last years of what the area has lost from their contribution as a quarter to the overall economic base of the state and the nation, being the home of the largest deposit of gas in sub-Sahara Africa.

“Ndokwa East is also one of the largest contributors of oil deposit in the country, and I urge you, the voters and would be delegates to use the time to choose this time right, someone who can be led and would lead, a worthy messenger that is going to concentrated the next four years making sure that our communities are connected by road access.” He said.
Speaking further, Engr. Ugbomah called on the delegates to avoid money inducement, as this should not be an issue, and the right peg should be put in the right hole.
“I call on the delegates to avoid money inducement, and should not be an issue, we should put the right peg in right hole, for us to move ahead.”
Reacting to the visit, the leaders of the party in the ward thanked him for all the assistance he had been providing to the area, especially the training and employment of the youths, as that had brought him out and identified him as an outstanding person in the LGA, especially with the slogan of his ambition of let do the work.
Speaking on behalf of the party, the ward chairman, Mr. Udongwu Austin said that the people of ward 5 are behind him, and they will give him all he requires to win the primary.
