While assuring the staff of the agency of the readiness of the board under his watch to carry everyone along in the scheme of things, Chief Egbune expressed optimism that the new director would bring his wealth of experience to bear towards the growth of the agency as a seasoned educationist.
Earlier, the Director of the agency, Comrade Ernest Ossai appealed to the chairman and members of the board to give him the expected support, stressing that the challenges facing adult learners and facilitators across the state required synergy with stakeholders in order to nip them in the bud.
He specifically emphasised the need for adequate and effective awareness creation and publicity for the activities and programmes of the agency through the media, adding that it was the best avenue to reach the downtrodden who were beneficiaries of the programme.
