The Okpala Uku of Eziokpor Kingdom, giving his blessing to Chief Joseph Oyewosah as the King Elect
The Okpala Uku of Eziokpor, His Highness, Chief G. Nwaka, had asked the executives of the Eziekpor Development Association (EDA), to appear before him to explain the reasons for the paid advert placed in a Local Newspaper in November, 2013. In the said Press release, the Executives of the EDA, disclaimed on behalf of the people of Eziokpor from the issue of the kingship stool, which the Okpala Uku selected Hon. Chief Joseph Ogodu Oyewosah, in a ceremony at his Palace.
In one of the Council Meetings, witnessed by Ndokwa Reporters. The Okpala Uku who was visibly angry about the write up asked the Spokesman of Eziokpor Community to produce the Executive members, especially Deacon John Orji Eneluwe, the President and Mr. Theophilus Chukwudi Ijukwu; the Secretary of the EDA and fix a date for them to come forward and explain to the Chiefs in Council the reason for the press release without clearing from his office as the custodian of the tradition and culture people of Eziokpor.
Investigation further carried out by our Correspondence also revealed that the same group of Persons were asked to write the Constitution to Institute the Kingship stool in the Community, which they, according to our source was not done
