EFFURUN/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has declared the state safe and ripe for investment, applauding Premium Trust Bank for expanding its footprint with the opening of a new branch in Effurun.
Speaking at the commissioning of the bank’s 21st branch—and second in the Effurun axis—on Monday, the Governor said Delta’s stable security and abundant skilled manpower make it a prime destination for business growth and economic development.
He hailed the bank’s Managing Director, Pastor Emmanuel Emefienem, for his vision and commitment to excellence, describing him as a dynamic “Warri boy” whose leadership is making a difference in Nigeria’s financial landscape.
Oborevwori noted that the new branch would not only boost local commerce but also provide employment opportunities for Delta youths and support the state’s economic diversification drive.
In his remarks, Emefienem said the bank’s presence in Delta aligns with Governor Oborevwori’s development agenda and affirmed the bank’s continued support for SMEs, financial inclusion, and youth empowerment in the state.
