Guwor to Uduaghan at 71: Your Leadership Remains a Model for Generations

ASABA/Nigeria: The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, on his 71st birthday, describing him as a visionary leader and devoted public servant whose legacy continues to inspire generations.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, Rt. Hon. Guwor extolled Dr. Uduaghan for his selfless service and transformative leadership during his years as Commissioner for Health, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and later as Governor from 2007 to 2015.

According to Guwor, “Dr. Uduaghan’s legacy is inspiring, and his commitment to the progress of Delta State remains an enduring example for many. His vision for healthcare, infrastructure, and education has left an indelible mark on the state and continues to benefit Deltans today.”

The Speaker noted that Dr. Uduaghan’s people-focused governance and passion for service distinguished him as one of Delta’s most impactful leaders, whose achievements remain visible across the state.

On behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly and the people of Warri South West Constituency, Rt. Hon. Guwor wished Dr. Uduaghan a happy birthday, good health, and divine guidance.

“We celebrate you, Sir, and look forward to your continued contributions to the growth and development of our dear state,” Guwor stated.
