ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta Central Youth Leader, Hon. Famous Oyibo, describing the news as shocking and profoundly heartbreaking.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, Senator Dafinone said Oyibo’s passing was a painful and untimely loss to the APC family in Okpe Local Government Area and across Delta Central. He described the late youth leader as a devoted, loyal and energetic party stalwart who played a significant role in strengthening the party’s structures at the grassroots.
“Hon. Famous Oyibo was a devoted, loyal and energetic party leader whose passion for service and unwavering commitment to the growth of our party were evident in both his conduct and contributions. His leadership, enthusiasm and dedication to strengthening the APC will be fondly remembered and deeply missed,” Dafinone stated.
The Senator extended his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the people of Delta Central to Oyibo’s immediate family, the APC in Okpe LGA, youths of Delta Central, and members of the party who are devastated by the loss.
He prayed for eternal rest for the deceased and for strength and comfort for his bereaved family and all those mourning him.
“May his soul rest in peace, and may God grant his family and all of us the strength and comfort to bear this great loss,” Senator Dafinone concluded.
