Double National Honours: Ighomrore Hails Oborevwori’s People-Centred Leadership

EFFURUN/Nigeria: Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development, has congratulated Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his emergence as Governor of the Year 2025 by New Telegraph Newspapers and Leadership Newspapers, describing the double recognition as a well-earned validation of purposeful and inclusive governance.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Dr. Ighomrore said the awards reflect the Governor’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development and the systematic execution of policies under the M.O.R.E. agenda, which he noted have reshaped the socio-economic landscape of Delta State within a short period.

He stated that the administration’s focus on infrastructure renewal, youth empowerment, community-driven projects and social investment initiatives has ensured that governance is not merely institutional but people-oriented.
