EFFURUN/Nigeria: The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, has commended the senator representing Delta Central, Ede Dafinone, describing him as a responsive and accessible public servant whose leadership style stands out in Nigeria’s political landscape.
The monarch made the remarks on February 14, 2026, at his palace in GRA, Effurun, during the launch of his autobiography, Odyssey of Royalty, where Senator Dafinone was present as a guest and one of the book’s official launchers. According to the royal father, the lawmaker’s humility, forthrightness and willingness to remain reachable to constituents are qualities worthy of emulation by leaders at all levels.
He noted that the senator is known to take calls and respond promptly to messages, often returning missed calls as soon as possible, which he described as evidence of discipline and a strong sense of responsibility to the people he represents.
Observers at the event remarked that since his election three years ago, Dafinone has earned a reputation for approachability and consistent engagement with constituents, maintaining open lines of communication through publicly available contacts and accessible offices both in Abuja and within his constituency.
The royal endorsement underscored what attendees described as a broader reflection on leadership standards, with the monarch stressing that responsiveness and humility remain essential traits for public officials seeking to build trust and credibility among the electorate.
