ASABA/Nigeria: The Chairman of Delta Mortgage Trust Bank Limited, Hon. Jude Ogbimi, has expressed profound appreciation to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for approving the construction of the Otor-Igho road in Isoko North Local Government Area of the state.
Ogbimi described the approval as a timely and strategic intervention that would significantly improve the socio-economic life of residents of Otor-Igho community and adjoining areas, noting that the project would open up the community for greater development and accessibility.
The Delta State Executive Council had recently approved the construction, rehabilitation and upgrading of several critical road projects across the state, with the overall projects estimated to cost over ₦400 billion, as part of the Oborevwori administration’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure development.
Reacting to the development, Ogbimi commended the governor for what he described as his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to equitable development across all parts of Delta State. He said the approval of the Otor-Igho road clearly demonstrates that the present administration is attentive to the needs of rural communities.
According to him, “On behalf of the good people of Otor-Igho community in Isoko North Local Government Area, I sincerely thank His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for graciously approving the construction of the Otor-Igho road. This project is of great importance to our people and will greatly ease movement, enhance economic activities and improve the general wellbeing of residents.”
He assured the governor of the continued support and cooperation of the people of the community for the MORE Agenda of the state government, while expressing optimism that the project would be executed to the highest standard for the benefit of present and future generations.
