
ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, King Joseph Ijawperebo Timiyan, PhD (JP), on the occasion of his birth anniversary, describing him as a beacon of unity and visionary leadership in the Niger Delta.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor commended the revered monarch for his exemplary leadership, wisdom, and enduring commitment to the growth and development of Ogulagha Kingdom and the broader Ijaw nation.
Oborevwori noted that the royal father’s reign has been distinguished by purposeful leadership, cultural preservation, and progressive governance, which have collectively strengthened peace and stability within his domain.
“I offer my most heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty on the occasion of his birthday. Your luminous leadership, unwavering devotion, and profound wisdom have charted a sure course for Ogulagha Kingdom and beyond,” the governor stated.
The governor further lauded the monarch’s role as Chairman of the Delta State Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, describing him as a unifying figure whose influence continues to foster harmony and cohesion across communities.
He acknowledged the monarch’s contributions to advancing education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development, noting that his leadership has inspired meaningful progress and inclusive growth in the kingdom.
Oborevwori also commended the traditional ruler’s advocacy for equitable resource distribution and environmental sustainability in the oil-producing Niger Delta region, emphasizing that such efforts are critical to long-term regional stability.
