OLUMBA/Nigeria: Amid ongoing economic and social reforms, a pro-administration mobilisation drive gathered momentum in Anambra State at the weekend, with key stakeholders expressing confidence that Nigeria is steadily advancing under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu despite prevailing challenges.
The endorsement came from Joseph Ugboaja, Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Anambra South Senatorial District, who spoke during the inauguration of the group’s Orumba North chapter in Oko community, describing the current trajectory of governance as one anchored on reform and long-term national growth.
Ugboaja, who also serves as Chief Medical Director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, urged residents to align with the administration’s vision and support its continuity, stressing that sustained backing would consolidate ongoing reforms.
He pointed to developments across infrastructure, the economy, health and education as indicators of progress, noting that road construction and rehabilitation projects are being pursued nationwide alongside economic policy adjustments.
In the health sector, he highlighted improvements tied to infrastructure upgrades and manpower development, particularly at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, where he said service delivery has continued to improve.
Ugboaja also referenced the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), describing it as a strategic intervention designed to ease access to education through interest-free loans for students.
“The President has set a pace that is putting Nigeria in the right direction for economic and social emancipation,” he said, adding that while the journey may be challenging, “there are clear indications that the country is on course.”
He charged the newly inaugurated executives to deepen grassroots engagement and expand the reach of the group’s message, assuring them of necessary support to achieve their objectives.
Also speaking, the RHA Coordinator in Orumba North, Chief Handel Okoli, outlined what he described as tangible gains of the administration, particularly in Anambra State.
Okoli maintained that ongoing developments in Orumba North and surrounding communities have been strengthened by federal support, urging residents to sustain their backing for policies aimed at national development.
