Children’s Day: Nonye Soludo Urges Nigerian Children to Dream Big, Embrace Future With Confidence

AWKA/Nigeria: Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has charged Nigerian children to believe in themselves, remain focused and pursue their dreams with determination, assuring them that the future belongs to them if they remain hardworking and resilient.

Dr. Soludo gave the advice in her message marking the 2026 Children’s Day celebration themed, “Future Now: Promoting Inclusion for Every Nigerian Child,” where she emphasized the need to create opportunities that allow every child to thrive regardless of background or circumstance.

Describing children as the pride and future of Anambra State and Nigeria, the governor’s wife said every child possesses brilliance, bold dreams and limitless potential that must be nurtured through quality education, innovation, guidance and equal opportunities.

“To every Nigerian child out there: believe in yourself, stay curious, work hard and never stop dreaming. The future is bright and it belongs to you. Grab it with both hands,” she stated.

She noted that with the right support system and enabling environment, children across the country could attain greatness and contribute meaningfully to national development.

According to her, the Anambra State Government remains committed to building a smarter, safer and more progressive society where children can learn, grow, dream and succeed without limitations.

“As we mark Children’s Day today, we celebrate the bold dreams, brilliance and limitless potential of every Anambra child. Our children are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are the pride and future of Anambra State,” she added.

Dr. Soludo further stressed the importance of sustained efforts toward promoting policies and programmes that support the growth, wellbeing and inclusion of children across the state and the country at large.

She wished children in Anambra State and across Nigeria a joyful and memorable Children’s Day celebration.
