ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, commending his administration for what it described as inclusive leadership and remarkable progress in governance and development across the state.
In a congratulatory message issued by the Chairman of Delta NIPR, Godfrey Osakwe, FNIPR, the institute praised Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to service, noting that his leadership has continued to drive the transformational agenda of the state while improving the wellbeing of Deltans.
Osakwe stated that the governor had demonstrated competence, capacity and commitment in the discharge of his responsibilities, adding that leadership was not merely a vocation but a call to service.
According to the institute, the Oborevwori administration has continued to provide purposeful leadership and create opportunities that are positively impacting the lives of citizens across the state.
The public relations body also called on residents and stakeholders to sustain their support for the administration in its efforts to build a Delta State befitting its status as a leading oil-producing state endowed with abundant natural and human resources.
The institute stressed the need for greater collaboration among government, citizens and development partners to accelerate the pace of development and ensure the continued growth of the state.
While applauding the achievements recorded so far, NIPR also emphasized the importance of strengthening the state’s security architecture, describing security as a critical factor for sustainable development, economic growth and investor confidence.
The institute expressed optimism that with improved security and continued public support, the administration would be better positioned to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.
It further prayed for divine wisdom, strength and guidance for Governor Oborevwori and members of his team as they continue to steer the affairs of the state and pursue policies aimed at enhancing the welfare of the people.
The Delta NIPR Chairman reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote good governance, effective communication and sustainable development in Delta State.
