EFFURUN/Nigeria: The Uvwie Consultative Forum (UCF) has pledged full cooperation and intensified grassroots mobilisation to support Delta State Governor,  Sheriff Oborevwori, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in Uvwie Local Government Area ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The pledge was contained in an appreciation letter issued by the Forum’s Director of Mobilisation and Publicity, Dr Patrick Ighomrore (JP), and dated October 28, 2026, following the group’s courtesy visit to Governor Oborevwori at his country home in Osubi on October 7.

In the letter addressed to the governor, Ighomrore, on behalf of the Forum’s executives and members, expressed gratitude for the reception accorded the delegation and the opportunity to interact with the governor.

He said the governor’s warm reception, humility and fatherly advice had encouraged members of the Forum and strengthened their resolve to return to their communities to promote his administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda.

The Forum said its commitment would extend to mobilising support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, while working towards the electoral success of both leaders and other APC candidates in Uvwie during the 2027 elections.

It assured Oborevwori of its full cooperation, loyalty and continued engagement with grassroots residents, emphasising its intention to translate the goodwill generated by the visit into political mobilisation ahead of the polls.

The group also prayed for God’s continued protection, wisdom and good health for the governor, expressing hope that he would sustain efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Delta State.

The letter ended with renewed appreciation to the governor for the recognition and hospitality extended to the Uvwie delegation.
