OBIARUKU/Nigeria: A middle aged Hausa man has been killed in Obiaruku, the headquarters of Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to reports, the man who was suspected to have been murdered by a group of armed robbers is a security guard in one of the stores by the Pickup garage at Amai Junction.
NdokwaReporters gathered that one of the stores were they sell mobile phones and accessories was broken into and items worth millions of Naira carted away by the bandits.
When the body was found at about 9:30am, the police confirmed the body dead. Visibly horrified passers-by who saw the body of the diseased said the young man was gruesomely murdered.
Meanwhile, investigations are currently going on to bring the perpetrators of the dastardly act to book.
It would be recalled that almost on daily basis, residents of Obiaruku live in the fear of the unknown and many are robbed of their motorcycles and other valuables and those behind the evil act have remained a mystery.
