ABALALIKI/Nigeria: Lady Monica Ada Chidinma Eze the Founder and President of David Umahi Nweze Akubaraoha Ebonyi Transformation Agenda (DUNAETA) a vibrant, virile grassroots NGO based in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State which is at the fore front of the re-election bid of Governor Dave Nweze Umahi in 2019 has been described as one of the most outstanding revelations of the administration of Governor David Nwaze Umahi of Ebonyi State.
This assertion was disclosed to the public by Brother Israel Ekene Mbam the President of Presbyterian Young People’s Association of Nigeria (PYPAN) Sun-City Parish, Azugwu in Abakaliki while conferring an EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP/YOUTH BUILDER AWARD on Lady Monica Ada Eze on 26th August, 2018 at Abakaliki the State capital of Ebonyi State.
The PYPAN President explained that the award is conferred on personalities who have distinguished themselves in their fields of endeavor especially in areas of youth empowerment, contributions to the church and development of the society adding that the Executive of PYPAN and the church have found in Monica Eze a worthy recipient of the award.
The PYPAN President further described Monica as a true daughter of Ebonyi State and formally affirmed her as Ada Ebonyi and stated that the youths of Ebonyi State are proud of her feats in propagating and promoting the ideals and vision of the hardworking Governor of Ebonyi State.
“We have been observing your inputs and programs towards educating the world about the new Ebonyi State being reinvigorated and engineered by the most patriotic Governor ever elected in Ebonyi State in the person of Engr. Apostle David Umahi. We are conferring this award on you not only as appreciation to all your good deeds but to motivate you the more not to relent until Governor Umahi is re-elected to continue with his God’s divine mission in Ebonyi state” Mbam reiterated.
Lady Monica Ada Eze who also acts as the Technical Assistant (TA) to Governor Umahi while accepting the award stated that this recognition will forever be cherished throughout her stay on this planet.
She expressed shock that she never knew that the little she was doing was being monitored to warrant this award.
She thanked her boss and uncle, Apostle Umahi who considered her worthy to handle such a sensitive office under his administration not minding her age.
“Governor Umahi has by believing in me and other youths he has empowered demonstrated that he is a youth friendly Governor and has the future of Ebonyi state in mind” Monica said.
“Continuing Lady Eze AKA Ada Ebonyi said: “I don’t have much to say but I will like to encourage the youths of Ebonyi State to rise up and utilize this opportunity of the administration of Ebonyi state to make their inputs towards a better Ebonyi State. Governor Umahi apart from developing the State to rank among most of the developed States in Nigeria have mapped and introduce innovative polices that can make each one of us the best we can be. Those of you yet to collect their Voters card should do so before the end of this month so that collectively we will ensure the re-election of Governor Umahi come 2019.”
She thanked the organizers of the event and assured them and the entire Ebonyians that her best is yet to be revealed.
“I wish to formally dedicate this Award to His Excellency, Apostle David Nweze Umahi the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State for his dedication and commitment to building a virile, egalitarian and industrial based State” Monica said
Pastor Mrs. Mariam Ukeni the Zonal Pastor of Dominion parish of RCCG who was a Special Guest during the event described Monica as a true daughter of Papa Enoch Adeboye the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christain Church of God (RCCG) and embodiment of an exemplary youth whom she is proud to be associated with. She urged the youths to be focused and industrious and forsake ungodly vices if they want to be successful in this world.
Rev. Silas Ezeoke who was the Guest Speaker in a sermon he titled, “Living by the word of God” took his texts from Psalm 119 and 2nd Timothy chapter two from verses 14 to 26 admonished the youths to be visionary as they are the future of Nigeria. He postulated that nobody who trust and have faith in God that will be disappointed in life.
The program came to an end after speeches from Collins Eze the Vice President of DUNAETA and Rev James O.nyeagoziri Ojim the Minister in-charge of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Suncity Parish, Abakaliki where the event took place prayed for Ada Eze and assured her that the Church will always supports her in all her programs towards assisting our amiable Governor to make Ebonyi State better and greater.
