ASABA/Nigeria: The Chairman, Delta State Investment Development Agency (DIDA) and Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Investment matters, Mr Paul Nmah has enjoined Youths in the State to embrace creativity and self-discovery for proper development of Skills and entrepreneurial spirit capable of making them employable in the society.
Mr Paul Nmah made this assertion during the 2019 African Youth Day Celebration in Asaba, Delta State capital Organized by the Delta State Ministry of Youth Development as held at the Conference Hall of Hotel Benizia.
Delta DIDA Boss stated that Youths should not only be looking for political appointments without the quest for the proper combination of Skills necessary for innovative ideas, areas of comparative cost advantage in talents, specializations, discipline, profession, creativity abilities and natural endowments for self-employment, self-reliance, and gainful employment towards Sustainable Development.
In his Words: “Most Youths want to be provided for without developing their initiative. Creativity is the best way to go. The Youths should not only be thinking of what to benefits from the Government rather think of a way of creating something out of nothing. They should locate their destiny by ensuring that they discover themselves”.
He added that Delta Youths should have a better mindset towards the promotion of the development of technical and vocational skills, entrepreneurial skills, and others as change agents to boost employment opportunities amongst the Youths in the State.
