“Alisimie-Ozanogogo Road Project Will Be Completed In March, 2016”, Says Okowa

Alisimie- Oza-Nogogo Road in Ika South Local Government Area

Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has expressed satisfaction at the pace of work at Alisimie- Oza-Nogogo Road in Ika South Local Government Area assuring that the road project would be completed in March 2016.
The Governor who was accompanied by the Commissioner for Works Chief James Augoye, and other top government officials on the road inspection recently, expressed satisfaction at the speed of the ongoing construction work at the middle section of the road and commended the contractors on the quality and for keeping to the project schedule and specifications.

According to him “What we have seen here today is quite exciting, looking through the drainage work that has been put in place and the level of construction being done, the work is very impressive and I must actually commend the contractors”.
“I believe that if we continue to award major jobs to companies such as this (CCECC) we are likely to have good delivery at the end of the day and nobody will have to complain that projects were not properly executed because there is a high level of perfection in this job” he added.
Senator Okowa who addressed a joyous crowd commended the community for creating a conducive environment for the project to be carried out saying “I must thank the community for their patience and their cooperation because for the company to work at the pace at which they are working, it means that they have gotten cooperation from you” adding “hopefully this project will be completed in March and in the course of our campaigns I did make a promise to the people of this community that the road will be constructed within the first few months of our administration and I thank God that we have kept our promise and be rest assured that we are on course to deliver prosperity for all”.
Governor Okowa also inspected the completed Palace Road and the ongoing Kokogbe Road, in Owa Oyibu.
