SAPELE/Nigeria: Minister of the Gospel of Christ in Charge of the Living Faith Church, aka Winners Chapel, Elume Branch in Sapele local government area of Delta State, Pastor Ambrose Ogana has charged Christians to always observe Covid-19 protocols.
Pastor Ogana in a sermon at a church service in Gana Sapele, advised believers in Christ to take government instructions serious whenever there is a call from the same government.
He said government by its nature is not meant to hurt people but they are placed to help the society, explaining that their role is to see that people are not hurted by any danger or threat.
The cleric maintained that the second variants of the Covid-19 is currently going round and for that, Christians in particular should be aware of this pandemic and never have any doubt about its existence to avoid contracting it.
The man of God who double as the coordinator of the Sapele correctional Centre, Christian ministry, said Nigerians should not disobey the laws of the land by not wearing their face mask, nor failing to wash their hands and as well keep social distance.
He called on Religious leaders nationwide to always preach to their congregations the need for them to take government instructions on Covid-19 very serious for their own good.
Pastor Ogana added, “No one should think the government is a fool and does not know what to do hence they are committing our resources to curb covid-19. The government at any level is wiser than the people they are leading”. He concluded.
