Dr Sir Dele Omenogor Receiving the Award on Behalf of HRM Enyi Friday Abaja, from a member of the ADU, Abuja Branch, Mr Onyemechi Uwaishe
AMAI/Nigeria: The King of Umukwata Kingdom in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM Enyi Friday Abaja has received an Award of Excellence from Amai Development Union (A. D. U) Abuja branch.
While presenting the award, Mr Onyemechi Uwaishe who stood in for the Organizing Committee Chairman, Barr. Ben Onyolu lauded King Abaja for his humanitarian works and fatherly love for the entire Ndokwa Nation and especially for Amai Kingdom. He noted that King Abaja’s peace initiatives over the years while the kingdom was in crisis did not go unnoticed.
In his words, “We the Amai Development Union, Abuja branch and the entire Amai people both at home and in diaspora wish to reciprocate your love for the people of Amai Kingdom, We have come to show our appreciation to you – over the years, you have been unbiased in your dealings with Amai Kingdom and we are grateful”, he said.
According to him, the award of Excellence and Peace was conferred on HRM Enyi Friday Abaja in recognition of his voluntary promotion of human well-being in the country, which had endeared him to Amai Kngdom, and humanity in general.
“Enyi, Amai people love you and we have come to say, thank you”, he enthused.
While receiving the award, HRM Enyi Friday Abaja, the Ukwata 1 of Umukwata Kingdom, who was represented by the Managing Director, Konum Farms, Amai, Dr Sir Dele Omenogor appreciated ADU for recognizing King Abaja’s unparalleled philanthropist gestures and his developmental strides in Ndokwa Nation.
“Today, I feel honored standing in for HRM Enyi Friday Abaja the King of Umukwata kingdom. He is an untiring philanthropist; He gives to widows, the needy, young and old”, he said.
