Ani Ndokwa Clan Heads Caution Youths on Their Overzealous Support of Politicians on Social Media

KWALE/Nigeria: Youths of Ndokwa extraction have been cautioned to control their overzealous supports for politicians on social media platforms, as their actions is embarrassing to the aspiration and focus of Ndokwa nation.

Giving the admonition was the President-General, of the Ani-Ndokwa Clans Association, (ANCA), Prince Igwe Nzekwe during the monthly meeting of the group in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area.

According to Prince Nzekwe, the situation has become worrisome as the cyberspace, especially in Delta North is been occupied by youths from the area, who dish out unprintable statements just to please their masters on social media platforms.

“Because the politicians give them peanuts to buy data, they make noise on Social Media Platforms, often embarrassing the Ndokwa nation”.

He advised them to come together and work for everyone on the Ndokwa Agenda.

“Ndokwa youths stop quarrelling among yourselves because of politicians, let us unite and work for anyone who has Ndokwa agenda at heart,” he said.

The meeting in their deliberation further called for the unity of Ndokwa Nation even as they stressed the need for a common front in the actualization of the collective goals.

In his speech, during the meeting, the PG commended what he described as uncommon unity among the 37 Clans PGs and called for the same level of unity in the entire Ndokwa nation. He noted that what can be achieved collectively as a group and as a people should come first at all times before who should lead.

He also stated that the group will employ all available resources to fight for the creation of at least 3 more local governments in Ndokwa nation because according to him Ndokwa-East, Ndokwa-West and Ukwuani local governments are large enough to be splitted into two independent local governments.

Speaking,  a Clan Youths Leader, Comr. Prince Illiromah Omokaro Clinton cautioned the house against admitting impostors who might come as community leaders whereas they are not.

According to him, “a true clan leader must respect and work in harmony with the clan’s traditional structures as well as with other clan leaders”. Meanwhile, the Acting National President-General of Izu Anioma, Dr Kingsley Ojieh have commended Ani-Ndokwa Clans PGs for coming together as one to be a united voice for Ndokwa nation. He also briefed the Clans PGs of Izu Anioma plans to work with them and other groups in Anioma in championing the course of Anioma.

Dignitaries present at the meeting include, Prince Igwe Nzekwe, Pharm Ambrose Abanum, Chief Barr. Sam Idada, High Chief Comr. Timothy Umukoro, Barr. Ndidi, Comr. Afam Oseji, Madam Alihe Evelyn amongst others.
