ASABA/Nigeria: Anioma Media Associates (AMASS), a collective of Practicing Journalists from the Delta North Senatorial District, has expressed hearty congratulations to Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza on his recent appointment and swearing-in as the Commissioner for Information for Delta State, and a member of the Delta State Executive Council.
In an official statement released on Thursday, February 1, 2023, by the National Coordinator, Comrade David Diai, and the General Secretary, Deacon Chijioke Williams Ugbolue, AMASS lauded the appointment, deeming it well-deserved. The statement highlighted Dr. Osuoza’s commendable track record, citing his longstanding role as the Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his exceptional capacity in effectively conveying the party’s policies and actions.
AMASS emphasized Dr. Osuoza’s pivotal role in shaping the narrative of the Delta State Government through his tenure as the State PDP Publicity Secretary. The group noted his professional acumen in defending and communicating policy directions, which significantly contributed to advancing the state government’s agenda.
With a wealth of experience in media and public relations, Dr. Osuoza has been described as a thoroughbred Media Manager with extensive knowledge of both local and national media networks. The group commended Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for recognizing Osuoza’s merits and appointing him as Commissioner for Information, asserting that he is well-prepared to effectively champion the administration’s MORE agenda.
The statement also acknowledged Dr. Osuoza’s previous roles as Chairman of Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) in Asaba and Warri, along with his stint as the Executive Assistant (EA) Communication to the Delta State Governor.
