AGBOR/Nigeria: The Anioma Youth Council, AYC had called for a peaceful election in the 2018 Delta state Local Government Elections.
The Youth council rising from a meeting held in Agbor, while congratulating the various candidates from the different parties, said that the election will only be adjudged free and fair, if they play according to the laid down rules by the electoral commission.
They advised the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, (DSIEC), to give all the candidates a level playing ground, to enable them achieve their ambitions.
The meeting used the opportunity to call on the youths of Anioma to engage in self help projects, especially in entrepreneurial development to enable them to be self reliant and independent.
“When young minds are engaged in meaningful ventures, money gravitates towards them.” They said.
The meeting which was held to brief the members from the 9 local governments of Delta North on the activities of the council passed a vote of confidence on the leadership lead by Snr.Com. Marcus Enudi.
