Anyafulu Celebrates Delta Students’ Qatar Debate Victory

ASABA/Nigeria: The Member representing Oshimili South State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Ifechukwukwu Bridget Anyafulu, has extended heartfelt congratulations to five brilliant students from public schools in Delta State following their outstanding performance at the prestigious World School Debate Championship held in Doha, Qatar.

In a personally signed statement, Hon. Anyafulu described the students,  Wisdom Chukwuma, Otorvo Uyoyou, Abraham Honour, Ekhamateh Splendour, and Alika Daniel, as shining stars who have not only done Delta State proud but also elevated the image of Nigeria on the global academic stage.

“On behalf of my family and the peace-loving people of Oshimili South, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to these brilliant young scholars… on their extraordinary victory,” the lawmaker said.

Their performance, she noted, is a clear demonstration of what becomes possible when talent is matched with preparation, discipline, and opportunity. “You have brought great pride not only to our state but to the entire nation,” she declared.

The Delta lawmaker further described the triumph as a testament to the strength and resilience of the public education system in Delta State, adding that the victory reflects the limitless potential of young Nigerians when they are properly guided, mentored, and inspired.
