
ASABA/Nigeria: The lawmaker representing Oshimili South in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Bridget Anyafulu, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in her constituency and across the world on the celebration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
In a goodwill message issued on Friday, Anyafulu, speaking on behalf of her family and the people of Oshimili South, described the occasion as a moment of reflection on the life and teachings of the Prophet, who embodied love, humility, compassion, tolerance, sacrifice, piety, and selfless service to humanity.
She noted that the Prophet’s exemplary virtues continue to serve as a source of guidance and inspiration for generations, fostering peaceful coexistence, justice, and the pursuit of happiness in society.
“As we remember the Holy Prophet on this special day, may his exemplary life and teachings continue to inspire and guide us to strive for more peaceful coexistence, justice, and happiness in our society,” Anyafulu stated.
The legislator prayed that the celebration would unite communities in peace and harmony, while wishing Muslims in Oshimili South and beyond a joyous and fulfilling Eid-ul-Mawlid.
