ASABA/Nigeria: A frontline aspirant for the Ndokwa West Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections, Mr. John Ikechukwu Ozegbe, has congratulated the re-elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and members of the party’s newly constituted National Executive Committee (NEC).
Ozegbe, in a statement, also extended his congratulations to Delta State representatives elected into the NEC at the party’s 2026 National Convention in Abuja, describing their emergence as a reflection of the growing influence of Deltans within the ruling party.
He commended the convention’s organising committee for what he described as a seamless and well-coordinated exercise, noting that the outcome reaffirmed the strength, unity, and collective resolve of the APC as a dominant political force in Nigeria.
According to him, the consensus-driven process underscored the party’s internal cohesion and commitment to democratic values, which he said remain critical to sustaining public confidence and effective governance.
Ozegbe further praised Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and members of the state’s delegation for their contributions to the success of the convention, describing their role as both strategic and commendable.
He urged the newly elected party leadership to remain focused and resolute in consolidating party structures, deepening inclusivity, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy are equitably distributed across the country.
The Ndokwa West aspirant also called for sustained efforts in advancing the APC’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, expressing optimism that the party’s strengthened leadership would translate into improved governance and national development.
