AGBOR/Nigeria: The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has described the All Progressive Congress, APC as a bad product for Nigerians, as its policies had never been good since 2015, when it came into office, and formed the move by the party to salvage the bad situation from 2023.
The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the party, Sir Monday Onyeme stated this on Tuesday, November 15, during the continuation of the party’s Campaigns Council to Ika South Local Government Area.
Sir Onyeme stated it had never been this bad in the country, but with the coming of the APC government, the country had degenerated and Nigerians now find it very difficult to feed.
He called members of the PDP in the wards visited to work towards voting out the party at the federal, to create a way for the rejuvenation policies the PDP government will bring from May 29, 2023.
He said Nigerians are tired of the APC government, and it should not be allowed to continue to rule the country.
He assured them the PDP government at the centre, and in Delta will make Nigerians live a better life.
“The All Progressives Congress, APC government had been a bad choice for Nigeria and Nigerians. The country had degenerated, to an unimaginable level. Many Nigerians now find it very difficult to live life.”
“We are calling on you to mobilise and vote out the APC in 2023. PDP is ready to redeem the already bad situation, and you have to be seriously involved. With our collective efforts, we will vote out the bad policies, and entrench a better Nigeria.”
The Deputy Governorship candidate, while assuring Deltans of continued government attention after Okowa, tasked the people to vote for the party at the governorship election on march 11, 2023, as they are ready to provide more development in all areas.
He stated the Sheriff-Onyeme ticket is for more good things to happen to Deltans as they have a very good blueprint to continue the good work, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has started.
Also speaking, the member representing the Ika Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Victor Nwokolo, while asking the people to return him and all PDP candidates, said that what is bad that can be salvaged, as something good cannot be salvaged, saying the Nigerian situation is very bad, and its calling to be salvaged, and the party is very much ready for it.
“We cannot be calling for the salvage of something good, but for something bad. The Nigerian situation is very bad, and it needs to be salvaged, through your votes.”
The Member representing the Ika South Local Government Area, Hon Festus Okoh appealed to the PDP members to consider the good things the party had done for them and vote for the party in the state in all offices and at the presidency, as this will help to attract more development to the area.
Earlier, the party chairman for Delta North, Elder Moses Iduh, who is also the Director General of the Campaign Council in the district, told the people that they were in the wards to charge them to work for the victory of the party, without reservation, as providing more good things for Deltans and rescuing Nigeria from the hands of APC is the major issue that everyone should focus on.
The various ward chairmen, youths, women leaders, and representatives of the Ibo and Hausa Communities agreed to the message and said they are ready to vote for the party at all levels.
