ASABA/Nigeria: Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended warm birthday greetings to the immediate past Governor of the state, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, describing him as a visionary leader whose legacy continues to shape Delta’s development trajectory.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, and made available to journalists, Speaker Guwor lauded Dr. Okowa’s selfless service, transformative leadership, and commitment to political stability during his eight-year tenure as Governor of Delta State.
“Dr. Okowa’s tenure laid a solid foundation for the growth and progress we witness today,” the Speaker said. “His dedication, wisdom, and far-reaching policies have had a lasting impact on every sector of the state.”
Speaking on behalf of his family, the people of Warri South West Constituency, and the entire Delta State Legislature, Guwor congratulated the Ika-born statesman on his 66th birthday and wished him continued strength and good health.
