The Ugoani of Okpanam, HRM Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu placing curses on masterminds of attacks on Okpanam
OKPANAM/Nigeria: The Ugo Ani of Okpanam kingdom, His Royal Highness Dr. Michael Ogbolu led Okpanam chiefs, indigenes and the community at large to the “Ishu Ani Okpam” where curses were laid and placed on the masterminds and all those involved in the recent attack in Okpanam land.
This was in demonstration of the monarch’s displeasure with the recent development in Okpanam community which left three police officers killed and some members of the Okpanam community vigilante seriously injured.
In an interview, the Ugoani said that Okpanam community had been known for its peaceful and calm nature not until the last unfortunate incident on Sunday the 24th of July, 2022 which claimed the lives of three police officers.
After the incident, some children of the community who were injured had been hospitalized and currently receiving treatments from the attack of the hoodlums.
He frowned at the attack on Okpanam, noting that all the master minders of ugly incident must not go unpunished.
He said that before such an attack would be successful, there must be an insider and further laid more curses on anyone who had a hand or knew anything about the attack and never informed the security forces about it.
