Avoid Acts Against School Ethics, Says Ochor

WARRI/Nigeria: Students in Tertiary Institutions in the country have been called to avoid any act that is against the rules and regulations of the institutions.

Addressing the leadership of the Students of College Education Warri,  the Executive Director, Social Services Development, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, told the students that it is their duty to keep the law which regulates all academic activities in the institution.

Hon Ochor reminded the students that the school environment can only be good for their learning, if the laws are obeyed.

“As student, you are not there to only study for your programs, but you are also to make sure that the laws governing the school activities are obeyed.” He said.

He pointed out to the students that as education students, they have to be serious with their studies, as their trainings is to add value to the educational system of the state in the future.

“As students from College of Education, your study procedure is different from any other training, as you have courses in education, and your core course, and with this extra load, you are expected to add extra value with your knowledge at graduation to our society.”

Earlier, the leader of the students, Comr.Ehis Tosan Bright in his speech had appreciated the Executive Director for his contribution to the development of the state, especially the student community.

The highlight of the event was the award of the most Active Director, DESOPADEC  to Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor in his office.
