KADUNA/Nigeria: A newly formed group dedicated to fostering unity and socio-economic development in Northern Nigeria will hold its inaugural press conference on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The event is set to take place at the Training Room of the prestigious Arewa House in Kaduna.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the group’s Publicity Secretary, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbass, made available over the weekend. The press conference will be addressed by the group’s chairman, former Sokoto State Governor Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, and its co-chairman, renowned political activist Hajia Naja’atu Muhammed.
The Hajia Naja’atu Muhammed, described as non-political, non-tribal, and non-religious, aims to unite the diverse peoples of the North and advance the region’s interests within the broader context of Nigeria. The event is expected to draw like-minded individuals from across the region.
“Media organizations are invited to cover this important event,” the statement added.
