Bearing Children Without Proper Upbringing Is Injustice To Society – Cleric

BOJI BOJI/Nigeria: As part of their activities to mark this year’s mother’s day anniversary, members St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Boji Boji, Owa, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State have organized a novelty football match between the men and women of the church.
The match which took place at Owa Model Primary School saw members of the Catholic Women Organization, (CWO) beat the Catholic Men Organization (CMO) 4 goals to 2.
Speaking at the event, a guest minister, Rev. Fr. Christian Odiaka, said that giving birth without proper upbringing is injustice to society.
He encouraged mothers to always support their husbands in taking care of the home and particularly their children.
“Every woman has be given one primary assignment by God, which is to take care their children and the entire society including their husbands”
Continuing, the clergyman, advised men to always show love to their wives and children and perform their duties at home as ordained by God so that there will be peace in their homes.
While urging parents to always monitor the activities of their children, he said “do not be slack in watching the kind of companies they keep.”
Speaking further, he admonished Christians to always love and care for one another as Jesus Christ did for His disciples.
He also charged Christians to always affect lives positively through giving saying that is one of the cheapest ways of winning souls to God.
In his remarks, the Priest in charge of the Parish, Rev. Fr. Kingsley Idehen, while congratulating celebrants, encouraged them to go back home and practice all they have learnt in the church.
He advised all parents to always see the education and proper training of their children as top priorities.
Also speaking, the C.W.O President, Mrs. Mercy Osagede, appreciated God for His grace and faithfulness upon their lives.
She also thanked the parish priest and those who supported them during the program.
