ASABA/Nigeria: The Late father of the Delta State Governor, Pa. Sir Arthur Okorie Okowa, had been described as a very godly, philanthropic, kind hearted, honest, vibrant and out spoken during his time on earth, by the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu in a reaction to the death of the father to Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
He further described him as a great teacher, fully of godly wisdom and fatherly prowess at all times, a good counsellor, transparent and respecter of men of God.
“He was a great teacher, full of godly wisdom and fatherly prowess at all times. He was a good counsellor, transparent and respecter of men of God. Each time, we; men of God visited him, he was always praying and preaching to us more than we wanted to do as we get to his residence.”
He encourage that the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the family bear the loss, as he had a well spent life, living behind a laudable legacy.
“Our amiable Governor and family, because he has gone to be with the Lord, kindly bear his departure and keep thanking God for the life well lived standing as an indelible legacy which this generation and the one to come shall hear and see and learn greatly from them.”
“Papa, rest peacefully in the Lord where you shall receive the rewards of your labour for Christ and humanity on earth.”
