BURUTU/Nigeria: The State Coordinator of Team Ibori For Okowa 2019, Hon. Edmond Guanah, has charged members of the newly inaugurated Executive Council of Burutu Local Government chapter of the body to be diligent with their activities.
Hon. Guanah, who was speaking during the ceremony in Burutu last week, urged them to go to their various wards and units and sensitise the people on the need for Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, to return to Government House in 2019.
He noted that even if the victory of Senator Okowa is certain due to his tremendous achievements since he became the state number one citizen, they should endeavor to make the victory 100%.
The Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Mobilization, who is also a stakeholder of the group, Deacon Onoriode Efekemo, and the state Secretary of the group, Comrade Mathew Oji, who also spoke advised the newly inaugurated exco members to work together in harmony so the sole aim of the group, which is to return Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa back to Government House in 2019, will be achieved.
They changed members of the group not to be intimidated by the few that are defecting from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) because Okowa’s good work is speaking for him making him the only alternative for the governorship position.
The newly inaugurated Coordinator, Monday Obah, thanked the state body who made the Burutu chapter inaugural ceremony possible and promised that they will start work immediately by going into every nooks and crannies of Burutu to preach the good works of Senator Okowa and sensitizing them on the need for him to be reelected in 2019.
A stakeholder of the group and one time House of Assembly aspirant in Warri North Local Government Area, Chief Felix Adanse, presented working materials to the EXCO members and inaugurated them.
Those inaugurated are Monday Obah – Coordinator, Seriki Bena-Oyagha – Secretary, Victor Eferi – Assistant Secretary, Princewill Azigere -Finicial Secretary, Akpos Datuowei -Assistant Finicial Secretary, Tambou Nemisigha – Organizing Secretary, Ebikokonbbowei Abiokuta – Youth Leader, Pena-Ere Delimor – Woman Leader and Youkeye Peres -Adviser.
Others are Chief Toruke Amasingha – PRO, Chief Mathew John-Ogbo – Adviser, Akemotu Friday – Provost, Senatebe Koko – Ex-Official, Guenbe Fidelix – Ex-Official, Daulayefa Thompson Wenetone – Ex-Official, Timi Benaoyagha – Ex-Official, Apalabe Areweremi – Ex-Official and Tobuke-Akpo Oloye – Ex-Official.
