ASABA/Nigeria: Christians have been admonished to look up to God for solutions to their problems rather than to be in despair.
A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Paul Okobi made the call today 12 August, 2018 at a birthday thanksgiving Mass for Jethro Osuyi, son to the Chairman, Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Paul Osuyi at the Assumption Catholic Church (Zappa), Asaba, Delta State.
According to the Priest, “there is something God has given to you that He did not give to others, all that you need to do is, invite Jesus into your life and be happy; any situation you find yourself in life, know that God is with you, don’t despair.”
“Life is a gift, the journey of life is a pilgrimage, but no matter the experience, God will never abandon you, always bear in mind that there is no perfect institution, God created a good world,” the Priest said.
He continued, “No situation in life lasts forever, every challenge on earth has an expiry date, so, stop comparing yourself with others because, you are unique; no matter the problem, package it and take it to Jesus, stop complaining.”
The Mass featured special thanksgiving by the Osuyi’s accompanied by friends and well wishers.
